Me and my family went here today for a family outing I brought my wife with me and she now loves it just as much as we do. The food is amazing the brisket is so tender. The service is fast and efficient. They are very polite. And they stay on top of us. It wasn't too busy when we were there. But I'm sure it does get busy. I would definitely drive 47 minutes any day for this meal.

CarterQue has proper brisket! That should be all you need to hear about a BBQ joint because if they can't do brisket, then nothing else will be on point either. With CarterQue, have no fear! The brisket is solid and the atmosphere is nice. And, don't shy away from the spicy sauce. It's not that hot.

Taylor knocked it out of the park. Best service I've had in years. She was friendly and gave great suggestions. The food was beyond delicious. And the portion sizes were huge. We will be back!!

Honestly the thing that stood out here was the service. VERY friendly and accommodating staff. They were 5 stars. The food was okay but, regrettably, nothing that knocked my socks off. The cornbread was the standout. Unfortunately, I was expecting stronger flavors, especially from the brisket which WAS very tender. Finding a way to add more smokiness and bold flavor to the food would make this a destination restaurant when paired with the service.

They are definitely not what they used to be. We went there many,many times for dinner and frequently ordered take out and were always happy with the quality of food. We even had them cater my son’s rehearsal dinner. Last couple of times have been very disappointed. We have ordered whole chickens to bring home, they have been dried out, over done and very small. Doesn’t have the fresh just made flavor it once had.

Hubby and I stopped in for carryout and a few beers while waiting on Labor Day Saturday. We will be back for sure. Staff are so good at what they do plus sweet and fun. Food is incredible and packaged with care. Oatmeal Cookie Ale is YUM. The sisters are especially awesome. Great find! Thank you CarterQue!

My family and I have dined at CarterQue almost 50 times since they have opened -- more than any other restaurant in that time. The service has always been great. The black raspberry sauce is a big hit. But I have to lower my previous review. I don't think the quality of the food is as good as it used to be. The sides aren't as flavorful, but the biggest change has been with the pulled pork. Some evenings it is good but some nights I get a high percentage of fatty pieces. I now like the quality of the pulled pork at Mission Barbeque better. Mission doesn't have raspberry sauce, but they have lots of choices and they are all at the table.

We used Carterque BBQ catering for our wedding day and Colleen and her team were absolutely amazing! The food, service and attention to detail was unmatched and more than we could've hoped for from a catering vendor. If you are considering getting catering from Carterque I highly recommend them! Also, they were able to make certain items allergen friendly which was a big plus!
